Transcription: The Northumberland Strait is a tidal body between Prince Edward Island and the coasts of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Prince Edward Island was once connected to New Brunswick more than 5,000 years ago. Ice retreat and rising sea levels flooded this link. This strait has the warmest water temperatures in eastern Canada and is a central recreational and tourist area in the Atlantic provinces. Some of Canada's best lobster and shell fisheries are located here as well. you
